Golf Cart Accesories

When some of us think of golf cart accesories, we might think of the fun and frivolous additions to the vehicle that make golfing more fun. Maybe this is because we know someone like my friend Diane, who used to use her Otis cart to cruise from one street to another in the sleepy town of San Anselmo (which is not too far from a super golf course, by the way). She had her own kinds of golf cart accesories: she had a “get out of the way” horn, a carry-all basket, and a saddle bag in which she could stuff the daily paper, her knitting, and some munchies.

But golf cart accesories—especially for the serious golfer—mean more than soda pop coolers and fun, colorful flags. They also include such functional items as the ball and club washer, with mounting bracket and hardware; the brush guard, coated in a powder black; and 36-, 42-, and 48-volt analog and LED battery chargers.

And on the list of imperative golf cart accesories are the spindle lifts; the black powder-coated front and rear bumpers with built-in receivers; chrome nerf bars; four-passenger flip-flop seat kits; aluminum diamond rear skid plates; 5-panel rear-view mirrors; aluminum diamond running boards; ½ gallon sand and seed bottles; aluminum diamond plate rocker panels; eight and ten inch tires and wheels/hubs; seat belts; storage covers for carts that don't already have canopy tops; storage covers for 54” tops; black powder-coated steel utility boxes; silver and black and gold and black turbine wheel covers; and fold-down and portable tinted or clear windshields.

Of course, golf cart accesories do include such safety items as floor and universal mount horns and switches and do include such recreational goodies as 10-quart coolers and ice chests, but who said the accesories were supposed to be the focus when the golfing 18 holes is the fun part?
